BUST Graduation for 2019/20 Academic year
BUST graduates 100+ students for the academic year 2019/20 at it's campus in Mile 6 Nkwen.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony, the Registrar and Vice Chancellor congratulated the graduants and encouraged them to use their skills and knowledge acquired at BUST to make the world a better place for themselves and their community.
Bamenda University of Science and Technology is a 3 - 4 year Arts, Science and Technology University founded in 1995 and went operational in 1998. Professional Degrees offered include B.A., B.Ed., B.Sc. B.Tech. The HND is a National Intermediate Diploma issued by the Ministry of Higher Education after two years of University studies.
BUST also offers Post Graduate (Masters Degree) Programs in all its Faculties in collaboration with the University of Dschang and the University of Buea.
Its main national affiliates are the University of Buea and the University of Dschang. It also has collaboration agreements with the University of Bamenda. Internationally, BUST is affiliated to the University of Osnabrueck (Germany) and the University of Wales at Bangor (UK).
Faculty: BUST has 90 lecturers. 56 Full time and 34part time and 28 with doctorates or terminal degrees. Graduates since 1998: 260. Enrolment as at the moment includes predominantly students from Cameroon, Nigeria, Equatorial Guinea and other African countries.
Calendar: Semester system.
